RULES

Dear Exhibitor:
We are glad to have you participate in the Fifth Annual Union County Heritage Festival to be held October 19th. It will be held at beautiful Wilson Park, just East of Union County High School and just off Maynardville Hwy (Hwy 33). The hours of the Festival are 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The purpose of the Festival is to promote Union County and to celebrate its rich heritage of music, art and crafts. It consists of art, craft, food vendors, an antique car show and competition between 4-H clubs in bread baking, canning, sewing, etc., all day music shows, demonstrations, quilt and art show, cultural, and Native American heritage shows For your benefit as a vendor, a great deal of the budget has been spent for advertising so we anticipate a large attendance.
Please note, the art and quilt show will be held at the Roy Acuff Union Museum and Library located at 3824 Maynardville Hwy. All other events will be in Wilson Park.
RULES AND REGULATIONS – Please read thoroughly
1. NO drugs or alcohol are permitted at the festival.
2. NO bikes, scooters, skateboards or roller blades are permitted.
3. SETUP begins Saturday October 17th from 6:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. If you feel you need earlier setup, please contact Festival officials. ALL VENDORS MUST BE SET UP BY 10:00 A.M. AND VEHICLES MOVED TO RESERVED PARKING SPACE.
4. Please check-in at the information booth upon arrival; parking will be assigned.
5. The Festival is a one day event and the committee asks that YOU DO NOT break down your booth until the Festival has ended at 5:00 P.M. All vendors, demonstrators and participants are expected to remain for the entire day barring tornado, flash flood, major weather problems or medical emergency. You may pull your vehicles back to the space where you unloaded to reload at 5:00 P.M.
6. We will provide a piece of ground for your display; YOU must provide your own tent/canopy, tables, chairs, setup materials, etc. The Festival is an OUTDOOR event; vendors, please prepare accordingly. It is mid-October in East Tennessee and extreme heat, cold, wind, rain and other inclement weather are possible. You may wish to bring along clamps, tarps, etc., to protect your wares. The Festival will go on RAIN or SHINE.
7. Regular booth spaces are 12 ft. X 12 ft. Your tent/canopy MUST fit within your space allotment. Please be respectful to your neighbor’s booth. If your display is larger than 12’X12’ you may want to rent two spaces or call Festival officials to make special arrangements.
8. No electricity is available in the craft and commercial areas; electric is available only in the food booth area for an additional cost of $10.
9. You are responsible for all taxes and fees you are required by law to collect.
10. You, the vendor, are responsible for your own insurance.
11. You are expected to keep the area around your booth clean and litter-free.
12. You are expected to keep a lookout for anyone in distress or in need of help. Qualified medical care will be on hand.
13. No portable generators or other noisemakers will be allowed in the Festival without prior permission from Festival officials.
14. There will be port-a-toilets available; check with the information booth for their location.
15. The Festival including, but not limited to those associated with the Festival, are not responsible for any injury, damages or losses incurred before during or after the events.
