Fifth Annual Union County Heritage Festival 2009 Art Show

The Roy Acuff Union Museum and Library will sponsor the Union County Heritage Festival Art Show as part of the Festival on October 17, 2009. The show is open to all artists. 

Art Show Entries may include: Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, Drawings, Pastels, Photography, Digital Art, Pottery, Wood and Metal.

               All exhibitors are allowed three 3 entries.

       All work must be the work of the exhibitor, original, and not entered into last year’s Festival.

       All 2 -dimensional work must be ready for hanging.

       All work must be acceptable for family viewing and work deemed unacceptable by the Art Committee will not be accepted into the show.

       There is no entry fee.

       There are no cash prizes.

       Recognition awards will be given as follows:

                    “BEST OF SHOW”

                       “UNION COUNTY HERITAGE ART AWARD 2009”                

                       “FIVE AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE
                       “FIVE AWARDS OF DISTINCTION
                       “FIVE AWARDS OF MERIT

Please bring your art to the Roy Acuff Union Museum and Library, 3824 Maynardville Highway, in downtown Maynardville, on Thursday, October 15^th between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

A volunteer will be available to sign your work into the show.

Your work will be available for pick-up on Saturday, October 17^th after 5:00 p.m. or Sunday, October 19th between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The exhibitor agrees to assume responsibility for any damages or loss to his/her property and agrees to hold Union County Heritage Festival, Inc, the Union County Historical Society and the Roy Acuff Union Museum and Library harmless for any claim or lawsuit.  The exhibitor agrees to cooperate fully with all rules of the festival and the town of Maynardville, TN or will be asked to leave the show.
